熊迅

熊迅,男,博士,中山大学传播与设计学院副教授,美国南加州大学(University of Southern California)访问学者。
主要讲授《纪录片制作》,《新媒体与纪实影像》,《视觉结构与设计》等课程,研究兴趣为影像传播、纪录片制作、视觉人类学、媒介人类学、中国西南民族文化等。
在核心刊物发表相关领域研究论文多篇,承担和完成多项科研项目。

Xun Xiong is an associate professor of visual anthropology, visual communication and documentary film maker at Sun Yat-sen University and visiting scholar University of Southern California. He is teaching Documentary Production, New Media and Documentary, Visual Structure in Communication School at Sun Yat-sen University. His interests include visual anthropology, media anthropology, documentary production and ethnic groups in South and Southwest China. 

He is the associate director of Media Anthropology Center at Sun Yat-Sen University and a editorial board member of Visual Anthropology Tribune, and also the member of Chinese Collegial Association For Visual Art, the associate director of experts’ committee of Guangdong Television Artists Association, the member of Visual Anthropology Association of China, the board member of Sino-US Video Recording Folklore Workshop. He took several researches as project leader and published several theses on border area in Southwest China, Visual Anthropology and Media Anthropology.   

As an ethnographic filmmakerhe focus on the sociocultural changes and Southwest ethnic groups in China. His film The Last Lineage Opera of Zhouguan Village was officially selected for the 2017 RAI Film Festival of the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland.
